Oh hello there, my name's Hawaii. I entered the Hi Tor Animal Shelter in Rockland County, New York, as a stray on June 12, 2013, and have been there ever since. I am approximately 4 and a half years old and if you can't tell by my rugged good looks, I am a male. Staff say that I am very rambunctious! I spent half my life on my own and the second half in a cage, so when I get to go into the kitty play pen I get a little wild. My ideal home would be a house with adults and no other pets. I may get along with a bigger dog, but (s)he would have to be used to being around cats. I love to play, I am pretty independent- I am one cool cat. If you're tired of immature kittens and you're ready for a real feline, adopt me. The shelter is no place for a free spirit like me.
