Hi everyone, my name is Willy and I'm a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix. I'm approximately 4 years old and weigh about 17 pounds. Let me tell you a bit about my past. I was surrendered by my previous owner to Manhattan Animal Care & Control. I was on the "At Risk" list because of my spinal condition- my back legs would always slip, and I'd wobble and fall over constantly. The lovely ladies at Mr. Bones and Co. rescued me and made sure that I got the care I needed. I had to have spinal surgery, which was pretty scary. I am happy to say that after completing my 6th (out of 8) week recovery process, I am doing AWESOME. As my foster family can agree, I am affectionate, energetic, well-behaved, and listen obediently. I also happen to love all people (even children!) and am great with other dogs as well. I am healthy and have an excellent prognosis since my recovery has been going so well. Even though I had a ruff start, I am lucky to have been loved and cared for and given the treatment I needed, so that I can now walk and run without a problem.

I am looking for my forever home in NY, CT, or NJ. You can watch more about my journey on the Mr. Bones and Co. website (link below)! Please consider adopting me, I am such a good boy and have come such a long way. I promise to make you very happy, as I love life and am so appreciative of all the kind people who have helped me get to where I am today.
